Elspeth completed her Bachelor of Vision Science in 2011 with a Masters in Optometry, with distinction, in 2013 from Queensland University of Technology. Elspeth is therapeutically qualified and has a strong interest in paediatric eye care, myopia control and specialty contact lenses. Elspeth is an aligned optometrist with the Queensland Children’s Hospital. In 2018 she received a Professional Certificate in Paediatric Eye Care from The College of Optometrists, Ulster.  Elspeth has been working at Clarity Optometrists, Bulimba, since the start of 2015.  During recent years Elspeth has been back to Queensland University of Technology as a guest lecturer and clinical supervisor. Elspeth has also presented at national Optometry conferences in paediatric vision and myopia control.
